International Potluck scheduled for Tuesday the 21st of January 2025 is postponed due to exceptionally cold weather! But stay tuned for updates!  For the next potluck, we will have an international theme - bring a dish that represents your heritage! For the new people: Potluck is a time to let your culinary creativity shine as well as meet and mingle with people outside of your lab! All are asked to bring EITHER a savory or sweet dish to share with all (overachievers sometimes bring both!). Everyone will then go through tasting the dishes and at the end we vote for the best savory and best sweet dish! Dishes can be store bought or homemade but only homemade dishes can be voted for in the intense competition. There is a trophy that you get to proudly display at your desk until the next potluck, you won't want to miss it!

I know Potluck has been sadly overlooked this year....but that's about to change! Potluck will happen on Halloween once again and will begin after the Thursday CBS Seminar. Best costume wins a prize!

The COP Research Day will be held in-person on Friday, November 1, 2024, in PHARM building. Abstract submission is now open, and the deadline to submit is October 8, 2024. Organized in the fall, the event showcases the research of our students and postdoctoral trainees, with nearly 100 posters presented. We invite exciting keynote speakers whose cutting-edge research appeals to campus-wide audiences. Click here for more information.

The traditional CBS potluck will take place on March 5th, at 1 pm (note the time change!) on the 3rd floor of the MBRB building. Everybody invited! Bring something yummy, too!

A new seminar series for PSCI trainees comes this Fall every other Monday at 10 am, starting August 28th, 2023. The seminar series is designed to give an opportunity for all PSCI students and postdocs to prepare, rehearse, and give a formal presentation in front of a friendly audience and to forge friendships and a shared identity among all of us, PSCI'ers.
