Camila Zamperini DDS, PhD

Camila Zamperini is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at UIC College of Dentistry. Prof. Zamperini's research has been focused on developing innovative anti-biofilm and anti-caries strategies and more currently also comprises the study of the potential role of the innate immune system on root caries progression. She is the author of book chapters, and over 30 peer-reviewed manuscripts published in the last 12 years.
