Prof. Cele Abad-Zapatero is a macromolecular crystallographer, with long experience in Structure-Based Drug Design at Abbott Laboratories, where he worked before joining UIC. At UIC, he works on projects dealing with structural biology and drug discovery in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Center for Biomolecular Sciences, and the Institute of Tuberculosis Research.
